After a dry and hot summer, the wet weather has finally come. Hard to believe there was a water shortage predicted for the winter. The creeks and rivers are swollen and flooding. Good news for the fish that have been patiently waiting for a chance to come in.
Are there any other fishermen out there?
Work has been fairly slow so far this year. Working as a T.O.C. (Teacher on Call), isn't the best job in the world. Hopefully something more reliable will come along soon.
Last week I applied for a job in Dease Lake, Northern BC. I haven't heard anything yet, I don't think the mail made it there missingthe deadline. We have friends who live up there.
Six monbths ago, I would never have imagined I would be applying for work in the North again, but...
we'll see how this next week goes.
